Management
The Essence of Our Mining Identity
Mr. Edward Shamutete is a seasoned mining industry executive with over five decades of experience. He began his career with Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM) Ltd., holding various managerial positions before serving as CEO from 1991 to 1999. Shamutete is also the Chairman and CEO of Shengo Holdings Limited since 1999 and currently chairs the board of EKS Mining International Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Mining Engineering from Imperial College, London, and is a Fellow of the Engineering Institution of Zambia.
Chanida Shamutete is an experienced Operations Manager. 25+ years in mining, transport, sales, and property management. Skilled in strategic leadership, team management, and stakeholder relations
John Banda is a proficient Mining Engineer specializing in plant operations, project management, and safety compliance. With expertise in mine planning, drilling, and blasting, John excels in optimizing productivity while ensuring strict adherence to safety standards. Passionate about community engagement and promoting safety awareness, John brings valuable skills and leadership to every project.

Gift Munsaka, a Zambian professional, holds a degree in Mining and Exploration Geology. With experience in core logging and mineral exploration, Gift currently works as a Grade Control Geologist at EKS Mining International Ltd. Known for his adaptability and strong work ethic, he enjoys soccer and reading in his spare time.
Mrs. Idah Shamutete is a seasoned professional with extensive corporate governance and entrepreneurship experience. She is a non-Executive Director at EKS Mining Intl. & Shengo Holdings. MD at Chasanana Properties Ltd. Background in administration and secretarial roles. Education: Diploma in Administration & Stenography.
Salukazi Shamutete is a seasoned Engineering Manager, specializing in semiconductor design reliability and program management. He holds a Master’s in Electrical Engineering (MSEE). Skilled in pre-Si Q&R IP and SoC verification, they drive continuous improvement for product reliability and time-to-market efficiency.

With bar admissions in New York and Zambia, she excels in tax planning, audits, and structuring mergers and acquisitions. Natasha's career highlights include managing due diligence reports for mining companies and providing tax compliance guidance to multinational clients.
